Job description
About the Position
Softprom is opening a Head of Marketing Unit position covering CEE & DACH markets - a leadership role driving brand recognition, partner demand, and vendor marketing across Europe. This is a hands-on strategic role: you will build the European marketing unit from scratch, align joint go-to-market plans with global IT vendors, and lead regional campaigns across seven European countries.
Work format: fully remote from any EU country, with business travel across the region.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing the annual marketing strategy across European markets (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, and Austria).
- Managing vendor marketing programs: aligning objectives, securing and utilizing MDF and co-marketing funds, and reporting on ROMI.
- Planning and executing the regional event calendar: partner meetups, industry conferences, and joint vendor events.
- Managing a Europe-focused Event Marketer and directing external contractors and creative agencies.
- Overseeing production of localized marketing assets, landing pages, email workflows in HubSpot, and social media campaigns.
- Growing and segmenting the European B2B partner database in HubSpot, running nurturing campaigns, and routing qualified leads to sales teams.
- Launching and optimizing regional digital campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads) independently and in collaboration with HQ.
- Tracking marketing performance, attribution, lead conversion (MQL to SQL), and vendor budget utilization in CRM.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B IT marketing, including at least 2 years in the channel (distributor, systems integrator, or vendor).
- Proven track record in marketing budget planning and managing vendor funds (MDF, co-marketing).
- Experience organizing partner events in Europe and participating in industry conferences.
- Hands-on expertise with HubSpot or an equivalent CRM: campaigns, attribution, reporting, landing page creation, and email marketing.
- Proven ability to manage agencies and production contractors within allocated budgets.
- Hands-on experience launching and optimizing paid digital campaigns, including LinkedIn Ads.
- Fluency in English (Advanced level).
- Practical experience with AI tools for copywriting, analytics, and workflow automation.
- Residence in an EU country and readiness for business travel across the region.
Nice to Have
- Professional proficiency in German (B2 or higher).
- Knowledge of Polish or other CEE languages.
- Practical experience configuring AI agents or automated workflow scenarios.
What We Offer
- Opportunity to build Softprom's European marketing unit from scratch, backed by HQ resources and 27 years of company market expertise.
- Promoting solutions of global IT leaders across seven European markets.
- Fully remote work format from any EU country, with business travel to events and vendor headquarters.
- Autonomy in strategic approach and choice of marketing instruments focused on ROI and business impact.
