About the Position
We are looking for a Head of Portfolio (all genders) to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. This role is full-time and offers a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities
- Own the commercial performance of your portfolio, driving Net Merchandise Value (NMV), contribution margin, and overall inventory health
- Determine brand growth paths within central framework criteria and build commercial business cases for top accounts
- Act as the primary commercial counterpart for high-volume brand partners, leading overall partnership strategy, trade term negotiations, joint brand plans, and internal alignment (with your Leads handling operational execution)
- Translate top-down portfolio targets into actionable commercial strategies and manage the seasonal top-down and bottom-up reconciliation process alongside planning counterparts
- Lead the brand hunting agenda, making strategic decisions on brand additions and offboardings in line with central buying criteria and minimum commercial terms
- Lead, empower, and develop a high-performing team of Leads, who in turn lead their commercial teams
- Serve as the senior commercial lead to Merchandising, Planning & Steering, Marketing, and Tech teams on all initiatives impacting your portfolio
Requirements
- Solid commercial background spanning both wholesale and partner business models, with deep operational and strategic expertise on the partner business side
- Prior experience directly managing and delivering on P&L targets
- Proven experience negotiating complex commercial terms and multi-season strategic agreements with major global brand partners
- Strong ability to derive and defend commercial decisions using data, along with a constructive approach to challenging planning assumptions
- Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and growing commercial teams
- Full fluency in English (written and spoken)
