Head of Production

About the Position

Kvertus - a product company that since 2017 has been developing comprehensive solutions for radio-electronic warfare and reconnaissance in the DefTech sphere. We are looking for a Head of Production to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Leading the series production of the entire product portfolio of the company. Full responsibility for the production work and fulfillment of the production plan.
• Planning, organizing, and controlling production processes. Forming a development plan or reformatting production according to the business strategy.
• Planning production capacities, resources, and workload for the simultaneous release of multiple product lines.
• Participation in the technological preparation of production for the launch and scaling of new products: from analyzing design documentation to organizing series production.
• Coordinating, developing, and quality management of the production team.
• Reporting on the production status, bottlenecks, and deadlines for batch manufacturing.
• Cross-functional interaction with R&D, design, quality department, procurement, HR, finance, and other departments to ensure production results.
• Participation in planning the need for components and materials to ensure production continuity.

Requirements

• Experience in managing the series production of hardware products for at least 2 years.
• Experience in scaling production.
• Understanding of the product transition cycle from MVP/prototype to stable series production.
• Experience in building and reorganizing production processes and teams.
• Experience in interacting with design and technological departments when launching a new product into production.
• Understanding of quality control principles in production and working with deviations/scrap.
• Understanding of production technologies: soldering, assembly, testing of electronics with the application of IPC standards.
• Working in SolidWorks for viewing, analyzing 3D models, and design solutions.
• Understanding the principles of Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in OPK/related regulated industries (aviation, automotive).
• Experience in launching ESM/EW or similar electronic equipment into production.
• Knowledge of military quality standards and product acceptance.
