Head of Supply Chain

About the Position

An international company specializing in the production of unmanned aerial systems is announcing an opening for the position of Head of Supply Chain, Kyiv.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and logistics strategies;
• Plan procurement activities in accordance with production needs;
• Manage the full procurement cycle, from supplier sourcing and selection to delivery control;
• Build and develop an international supplier base (EU, USA, Asia);
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and cooperation agreements;
• Organize and oversee international logistics and customs clearance;
• Develop inventory management systems and implement a multi-sourcing policy;
• Manage supply chain risks and ensure continuity of supply;
• Automate and improve procurement and supply processes;
• Manage the Procurement and Logistics team.

Requirements

• Higher education;
• Additional business education will be an advantage;
• English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher;
• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain;
• At least 3 years of team management experience;
• Practical experience in international procurement and working with suppliers from the EU, the USA, or Asia;
• Experience working with technical or engineering products (electronics, components, equipment, industrial products);
• Understanding of international logistics, customs procedures, and inventory management;
• Experience in developing and optimizing procurement processes;
• Confident user of ERP systems (BAS or equivalent);
• Willingness to travel abroad.

Nice to Have

• Experience in high-tech, aerospace, or defence projects;
• Experience with export control and international regulatory requirements;
• Experience in implementing procurement automation and analytics systems.
