About the Position

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine announces competitions for public service positions of categories “B” and “B” of the Department of Communications. The Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of July 02, 2021 No. 504 was approved.

We are seeking a Head of the Department of Interaction with Political Parties and Public Organizations to lead our communications team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the activities of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs to establish a systematic dialogue with the public.
• Promotes public participation in the formation and implementation of public policy.
• Organizes planning and implementation of activities for public consultations.
• Develops draft legislative and regulatory acts in the areas of work of the department.
• Considers appeals from state authorities, local self-government bodies, public associations, enterprises, institutions, organizations, and citizens on issues of department competence.
• Prepares necessary information, analytical, statistical, reference materials, report notes, orders on behalf of the management.
• Participates in the preparation of materials for meetings, scientific and practical conferences, seminars, press conferences, briefings on the areas of activity of the department.
• Monitors compliance by employees of the department with the rules of internal service regulations, current legislation, and regulations.
• Ensures the implementation of regulations on the observance of equal rights and opportunities for women and men, prevents and combats discrimination on the basis of sex and sexual harassment.
• Organizes and directs work on establishing interaction with public associations and authorities on the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
• Elaborates draft regulations and other documents submitted for approval on matters falling within the competence of the department and prepares proposals and comments on them.

Requirements

• Education: Higher education with an educational degree not lower than a master's.
• Work Experience: Experience in public service positions of categories “B” or “B” or experience of service in local self-government bodies, or experience in managerial positions of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership for at least two years.
• Proficiency in the State Language: Fluency in Ukrainian.

We Offer

• Official salary: 13,700 UAH
• Allowances, surcharges, bonuses, and compensation in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”
• Increase to the official salary for the rank of civil servant in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017 No. 15 “The issue of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (as amended)
