Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships with executives to ensure effective business strategy execution
• Execute bi-annual performance management cycles
• Support and advise managers and employees on all employee lifecycle processes, including HR policies, employee relations
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, including handling restructuring initiatives and complex employee relations cases
• Be the local point of contact for legal compliance matters and liaise with our legal team on employment contracts and regulatory matters
• Collaborate with the People Operations team to streamline and automate HR processes, leveraging AI and technology
• Analyze HR data and metrics to provide workforce reports and statistics, and recommend efficiency improvements
• Contribute to engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive workplace
• Oversee payroll administration and HR operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Oversee HR vendor management and contract renewals for HR services

Requirements

Must-haves:

• 5+ years’ experience as an HR generalist or in HR operations, ideally in an international environment
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR compliance
• Proven experience managing company-wide transformations, including restructuring initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Data-driven mindset with experience using HRIS and HR analytics tools
• Demonstrated ability to optimize and automate HR processes, including leveraging AI tools
• Experience with payroll administration and HR operations
• High ethical standards and professionalism

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven company
• Experience with BambooHR as a HRIS tool
• Familiarity with vendor management and HR budgeting
