Responsibilities

As an HR Payroll Specialist, you will be part of our Human Resources team, which supports over 2,000 employees worldwide. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Assisting in the monthly payroll processing with necessary preliminary and follow-up activities
  • Recording and maintaining master and transaction data as well as personnel file maintenance using SAP HCM
  • Ensuring the correct social security and tax treatment of salary and other payments
  • Correspondence with health insurance companies, social security institutions, offices, and authorities
  • Handling reporting and certification requirements
  • Acting as a contact person for executives and employees on payroll-related, social insurance, and income tax law issues
  • Processing occupational pension schemes
  • Calculating provisions and recording them
  • Compiling and reporting personnel-related key figures and statistics
  • Supporting human resources projects (e.g., implementation of SAP SuccessFactors)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial education, ideally with further training as a Human Resources Specialist
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in operational payroll processing
  • Solid knowledge of social insurance and income tax law
  • High system affinity and proficient use of SAP HCM (and ideally SuccessFactors) as well as MS Office, especially Excel
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Independent, conscientious, and accurate work approach
  • High service orientation and entrepreneurial thinking and action
  • Enjoyment of teamwork
