Human Resources Manager

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team at Evolution, a world-leading developer and provider of products for the online casino industry. Our studios in Metro Vancouver, Canada, are part of a thriving region known for its diverse talent pool and vibrant tech and creative industries.

Responsibilities

• Build effective recruitment strategies to support a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Implement and drive employee relations, retention, and reward programs to foster a positive studio culture.
• Ensure high accuracy in employee records and HRIS system.
• Drive process improvements with innovative HR solutions.
• Collaborate with local and global HR teams and other key business functions to contribute to business growth.
• Provide expertise in high volume recruitment, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, recognition programs, and employee engagement.
• Manage the local HR team to support business priorities.
• Offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
• Build strong partnerships with business leaders.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or relevant disciplines.
• Thorough understanding of the BC Employment Standards Act and related labor legislations.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with 3 years of HR Management experience.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines within a complex matrix work environment.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leaders and a variety of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting hourly employee client groups is considered an asset.
