About the Position

Hybrid Sales Executive for Global Tech Partners m/f/d

We are looking for a Hybrid Sales Executive to join Lenovo, a leading global technology company. This role combines face-to-face customer engagement with office-based account management and commercial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will represent Lenovo’s end-to-end portfolio to consulting clients and support the development of strategic customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted Lenovo contact for consulting clients, developing strong relationships and representing our end-to-end portfolio across devices, infrastructure, services, and AI solutions.
  • Partner with the Client Global Manager and wider account team to execute customer strategies and identify opportunities for sustainable revenue growth.
  • Manage the customer relationship throughout the sales lifecycle, including pipeline development, quotations, order management, commercial follow-up, and cash collection.
  • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, lead customer conversations, address objections, and progress opportunities through to successful closure.
  • Collaborate with finance and profit management teams to model pricing, evaluate discounts, protect margin, and develop commercially viable proposals.
  • Coordinate with product, manufacturing, supply chain, and fulfillment teams on volume forecasts, configured-to-order requirements, backlogs, supply constraints, and delivery schedules.
  • Work across Lenovo’s international matrix organization, engaging sales operations, pricing specialists, Global Technology Partners, services experts, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive customer solutions.
  • Balance strategic customer visits with accurate CRM management, forecasting, reporting, account administration, and other office-based sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in technology, professional services, managed services, or another complex commercial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage consultative sales cycles, develop pipeline, present customer value, navigate objections, and close opportunities.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including an understanding of gross margin, profit modeling, discounting, and pricing strategies.
  • Experience using CRM tools, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, together with the discipline to maintain accurate forecasts, customer records, and sales activity.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; German language capability would be advantageous but is not required.
  • Confident and credible communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers and collaborate effectively across international, cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning; able to combine customer-facing sales activity with detailed account administration and travel requirements.

We Offer

  • A multitude of professional and personal development opportunities.
  • A very open and flexible work environment within one of the most forward-thinking IT companies.
  • Very flat structures, fast decision-making processes, and a constant focus on customer requirements.
  • An international team with a high focus on diversity & inclusion.
  • Attractive compensation package
  • …and a lot of fun: We like to celebrate our successes!
