IC Specialist

About the Position

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an IC Specialist to work with a leading company in the logistics and warehousing sector in Allentown. This role supports daily warehouse operations by monitoring inventory accuracy, performing physical inventory counts, researching discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm.
• Must work on weekends when necessary.

Pay Rates

• $19.00 USD hourly

Responsibilities

• Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies by investigating transaction history.
• Maintain accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Collaborate with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and report findings to warehouse leadership.

Requirements

• Inventory and counting skills: Ability to count products accurately, verify quantities, identify misplaced inventory, and recognize discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• WMS proficiency: Ability to use warehouse management systems, RF scanners, barcode readers, and basic data-entry applications.
• Problem-solving: Ability to trace inventory movements, research transaction history, determine possible causes of discrepancies, and report findings accurately.
• Attention to detail: Ability to distinguish similar SKUs, verify labels and locations, follow counting procedures, and maintain accurate records with minimal errors.
• Communication and teamwork: Ability to communicate inventory issues clearly, work with warehouse associates and supervisors, and follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Safety and physical abilities: Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment, stand and walk for extended periods, access designated inventory locations, and lift or move products.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Excel and data entry.
• Previous experience with cycle counting and inventory audits.
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
