IN Partnerships Lead

About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic IN Partnerships Lead to join our team at Roarbank, a digital banking platform launched by Unity SFB in collaboration with Fintech Farm. Your role will be pivotal in driving the card-payments agenda for our India neobank, building strong partnerships across the ecosystem, and leading critical initiatives from certification to product rollout.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain senior relationships with key Indian card ecosystem stakeholders (NPCI/RuPay, Visa, processors, ACS providers, card manufacturers)
• Lead scheme-driven strategic projects end-to-end, including certifications and implementations for card and digital payment solutions
• Drive the introduction and rollout of new card functionalities and scheme programs from concept through production
• Own approval-rate performance: monitor authorization trends, identify decline drivers, and lead initiatives to reduce declines and improve customer experience
• Manage delivery with processors and ACS providers: coordinate integrations, timelines, testing, go-lives, and post-launch optimization
• Serve as an internal SME on India card rules and scheme requirements, translating them into actionable product/tech deliverables
• Partner cross-functionally (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Ops) to ensure market readiness, scheme compliance, and operational excellence

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of card payments: interchange/fees, end-to-end transaction lifecycle, 3DS/authentication flows and approval-rate optimization
• Hands-on experience working with international schemes and Indian ecosystem players (e.g., Visa, NPCI/RuPay) and processing companies
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-stream projects (integration, certification, launch) with external vendors/partners
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical teams, business counterparts and senior management
