Infection Control Nurse Manager 2

Our client, a leading private hospital in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention & Control Nurse (CNM2) to join their multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role in driving best practice, supporting staff, and embedding a strong culture of safety and collaboration across the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject-matter expert and clinical leader in all aspects of Infection Prevention & Control (IPC).
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to monitor risks, respond to emerging trends, and ensure compliance with national and hospital IPC standards.
• Lead and continuously improve infection prevention and control practices.
• Conduct IPC audits, provide evidence-based recommendations, and monitor infection risks, rates, and trends across the hospital.
• Manage infection outbreaks.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with NMBI registration.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification nursing experience.
• Recent experience in Infection Prevention & Control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and audit skills.
• Higher Diploma in Infection Prevention & Control is desirable.
