About the Position

Alter Way, a subsidiary of Smile Group, is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer H/F to join our team in France. We specialize in cloud infrastructure and DevOps services, focusing on managed services and consulting. Our work is centered around three pillars: Excellence, Innovation, and Responsible Engagement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Client Needs: Understand client expectations and technical constraints to propose tailored solutions.
• Design Solutions: Develop architectures and write technical proposals in response to client requirements.
• Support Sales: Assist sales teams during negotiations by providing technical expertise.
• Participate in Tenders: Collaborate with internal teams to draft responses to tenders.
• Technological Vigilance: Keep track of technological advancements to offer innovative and market-appropriate solutions.
• Training and Advice: Educate and guide clients on suitable technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Web Platform Architecture on Linux
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
• Ability to identify problem areas and propose solutions.
• Architect-level certification from a cloud provider.
• Familiarity with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, OVHCloud, Outscale).
• Good level of English.
