Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is a 100% Bosch owned company in India. The company designs and develops world-class Hydraulic Brake System Parts that include Boosters, Tandem master cylinders, and Proportionating valves. The Control Division develops innovative components, systems, and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics, and driver assistance like ABS and ESP. RBIC is expanding its portfolio in passive safety and other driver assistance products.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfilment: Lead a team of operators/trainees to execute production activities, achieve KPI targets, and fulfill customer orders in the assigned production territory.
• Shift Planning & Execution: Plan shifts, ensure adherence to production documents, coordinate material arrival, and achieve production quantity targets.
• Operator Deployment: Track and monitor manpower, provide on-the-job training, and maintain skill matrices and training records.
• Line Start-up: Manage line start-up, set-up changes, achieve production quantities, ensure product quality, and maintain related documentation.
• Improvement Projects: Identify and implement opportunities for safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• BPS Implementation: Apply and implement BPS concepts as specified by the industrial engineer/BPS coordinator on the shop floor.
• Rejection Analysis: Conduct daily rejection analysis, follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and update the deviation management board.
• Relationship Management: Maintain healthy and cordial relations with operators, motivate the team, and resolve grievances.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to 5S, health, safety, and quality standards.
• Troubleshooting: Handle machine troubleshooting, type changeovers, and adherence to standardized work.
• Maintenance: Ensure burr cleaning, conduct autonomous maintenance, perform LPC, standardize work, and participate in Kaizens.
• Training: Provide training to operators, maintain skill matrices, and plan and execute operator skill development.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate Engineer (Automobile/Production/Mechanical)
• Experience: 2~6 years of experience as a production supervisor
