Inside Sales Manager in Elternzeitvertretung (m/w/d)

About the Position

RIEDEL Communications, the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors, is seeking an Inside Sales Manager (m/w/d) in Wuppertal, Germany, for a limited contract of 1.5 years on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer inquiries through various channels and guide the sales process from initial contact to successful deal closure.
• Identify new business opportunities through targeted outbound activities with existing and potential customers.
• Qualify and prioritize leads, develop sales opportunities, and ensure efficient handover to the outside sales team when necessary.
• Create quotations, calculate customer-oriented solutions, and negotiate prices and conditions within the given framework.
• Independently manage defined customers and partners, build long-term relationships, and identify upselling and cross-selling potentials.
• Work closely with sales managers, pre-sales engineers, and teams from marketing, service, and logistics to ensure optimal customer experience.
• Maintain and optimize data quality in our CRM and ERP systems, ensuring reliable documentation of all sales-related activities.

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training, a degree, or comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in inside sales, customer service, or a similar sales-related position.
• Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, and solid knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication and consulting skills with a passion for active customer contact.
• Sales-oriented mindset and a good sense for customer needs and business potentials.
• Independent, structured, and proactive work style combined with high self-motivation and result orientation.
• Organizational talent with a high quality standard and the ability to manage multiple topics in parallel.
• Excellent German and English language skills in speech and writing.
