Job description

About the Position

Are you also curious about where the new trends suddenly come from? Do you immediately notice when you walk through the supermarket and your favorite yoghurt brand has released a new flavor? Do you register instantly when your favorite shampoo brand 1+1 offer is back? Are you interested in which products consumers buy every day and would like to learn more about them? Then you've found the right place!

As a market leader in measuring and analyzing the FMCG industry, we are unrelenting in our pursuit of the most granular data to deliver the background our clients need. Our best-in-class data scientists and analysts simplify the complexity of this information, revealing powerful insights through clear, compelling stories. Powered by 100 years of knowledge and by true intelligence.

Responsibilities

As an Insights Associate, you would acquire the skills related to FMCG and familiarize yourself with the most advanced tools and the metrics of the analysis. This will be a key enabler for being responsible for analyzing the data and helping to prepare the presentations for our clients, the top manufacturers or distributors of food, beverages or home and personal care products. Your key responsibilities would be:

  • Analyzing the data about well-known brands in different stores such as hypermarkets, supermarkets, drug stores, petrol stations, and others.
  • Based on the analyses you would prepare, our clients would understand what is happening today and why, which will allow them to look to the future and make decisions with confidence.
  • You would partner closely with the Sales team in order to exploit the commercial opportunities to their full extent and also with other colleagues in order to ensure the success of our clients.
  • You would participate in different team projects helping yourself and your colleagues learn new things and grow.

Requirements

The candidate we look for:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Interest in products of daily use sold in food and drug stores
  • Interest in learning new things
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent command of both written and oral English as well as Czech/Slovak language
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Completed study in Business Economics/Administration, Marketing Management/Analytics/Intelligence or a comparable study (Bachelor or Master degree)
  • Relevant working experience is a plus

We Offer

We can offer you an interesting starting position, in which you learn, among other things, how brands and categories are analyzed and how companies deal with market information. You will be working with the top manufacturers and brands on the market. At NielsenIQ we count on providing you with the full training and personal development so you will learn the right skills if you want to continue in market research - and we definitely have a compelling career path to offer - but also if you eventually aspire to a career in brand, sales, (trade) marketing, or category management.

Our people are our most valuable asset and our culture is very open and informal and hence we are looking for people who are just as open-minded, positive and passionate about FMCG to join our team.

Salary: 637000 to 732000 CZK gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
