Instrument & Controls Intern - Water

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated Instrument & Controls Intern - Water to join our Engineering & Development Services group. This internship is part of our summer program for qualified engineering students interested in gaining hands-on experience in various sectors such as power generation, renewables, water treatment, oil and gas, and more.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience through meaningful work assignments.
• Learn and apply department design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering deliverables such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), schedules, and specifications.
• Participate in project scope, schedule, and budget discussions.
• Engage in internal project review and coordination meetings.
• Network with experienced engineering professionals and executives.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an ABET accredited university in an Engineering program.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical.
• Initiative, self-starter, highly motivated.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
