About the Role

We are seeking an Integration Engineer to join our team in Berlin, Germany, specializing in integrating SaaS and on-prem systems. You will be responsible for bringing our Rulemapping platform into our clients' system landscapes and ensuring it runs reliably there.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all technical interfaces up to the productive customer system, from the reference architecture through the connection and testing of APIs to the go-live. This includes the integration of LLM services into our customers' instances.
You will support installations in our customers' and partners' infrastructure. You will create the appropriate instructions.
You will be responsible for the IT security artifacts of an integration, such as authentications, certificates, keys, and customer secrets.
Where our standard interfaces do not cover a requirement, you will develop individual extensions in Python. You will build and maintain adapters to customer systems such as directory services and cash and departmental systems. This makes recurring integration patterns standardizable.
You will advise customers on the use of our APIs, maintain the technical documentation, and take over 2nd-level support for the systems you manage. You will expand our toolkit of instructions, code examples, and SDKs.
You will clarify technical details with the product team, bring in requirements from customer projects, and develop new components around the platform so that further use cases become generically available.

Requirements

At least three years of experience in the technical integration of SaaS and on-prem systems.
Experience in customer projects and in working with customer organizations, preferably in the public sector or regulated industries.
Very good Python skills and solid API knowledge of REST and JSON, including API management with tools like Postman.
Experience with authentication and authorization via OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and certificates, as well as technical understanding of Linux, containers, and deployments in customer infrastructures. Experience with IAM solutions and the integration of LLM or AI services is a plus.
Confident demeanor in customer contact and the ability to mediate between customers, technology, and business, combined with the willingness to get hands-on and take responsibility for your own projects.
German at C2 level, English at least C1.
