Intern Product Designer (AI Prototyping)

About the Position

Intern Product Designer (AI Prototyping)

MasterBorn is looking for an Intern Product Designer to join our Product Design team in Wrocław or remotely. Your main focus will be to learn, under the guidance of a mentor, how to design useful apps in Figma/AI and how to turn those designs into working prototypes with the help of AI tools.

We work with well-established companies and sometimes with startups in their early stages, which makes the job full of variety. You will have your own mentor who will help you onboard and upskill, and you'll be on a commercial project from day one.

This is a new kind of internship for us. Next to the classic design craft, you'll spend a lot of time building and not only drawing, so that what you hand over is a link to something that works and not just a Figma file.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor on real projects, experiencing the full process from idea to execution
• Receive onboarding, task assignments, progress support, and work review from your mentor
• Join client meetings and present your work with mentor support
• Receive real, meaningful tasks, not just design support work
• Get exposure to the scrum process and learn how to work closely with developers and Product Owners
• Occasionally support the marketing team or help with internal company initiatives like presentations
• Receive continuous feedback and support from our entire design team

Requirements

• Basic background in design and a portfolio to show us (no commercial projects required)
• Eagerness to use AI to turn your design ideas into real products
• Proactive and open to feedback
• Open to learn and grow
• Basic knowledge of Figma
• Polish at a C1 and English at a C1 level (it’s a must)
• Student status

Nice to Have

• Student or graduate of graphic design, product design, or a similar creative field
• Exposure to UI or UX principles
• Experience in branding, marketing design, or any visual design discipline
• Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / After Effects, Webflow, Jitter, Framer, Make (or alternative)

We Offer

• Paid 3-month internship with real responsibilities
• Option to extend the cooperation
• Path toward a Junior Product Designer role
• Regular feedback, mentoring, and shadowing opportunities
• Access to our internal Delivery Talks, Design Talks, and Tech Talks
• A friendly, feedback-driven culture where you can ask anything and grow fast

Salary

PLN 4,300 brutto (UZL) per month
