International Supply Operations Lead - PLECA

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking an International Supply Operations Lead for the PLECA region. This role is pivotal in maintaining the balance of courier supply and demand, ensuring faster delivery times, operational efficiency, and supporting growth across competitive markets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Operational Data: Identify trends, uncover root causes, and define priorities to enhance customer experience.
• Translate Insights into Action Plans: Improve delivery time, rider efficiency, and cost performance.
• Team Management: Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing Operations team.
• Performance Metrics: Own operational performance metrics, ensuring strong courier supply balance and delivery experience.
• Standardize Operating Models: Develop scalable models for seasonality, business growth, and operational shifts.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with General Managers and Heads of Operations to support market-level priorities.
• Collaboration: Work with global operations and cross-functional teams to deploy new tools and processes.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Establish strong relationships with key operational stakeholders, including courier communities and third-party fleet partners.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years in high-paced environments such as operations, consulting, logistics, marketplace ops, or similar fast-moving companies.
• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent post-graduate program is a strong plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical capability, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in KPIs creation & tracking, team delegation, and understanding of marketplace or delivery business models.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2+), both written and verbal.
  • Ability to negotiate with external partners and communicate Glovo’s value proposition.

Nice to Have

• SQL or advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in creating and tracking KPIs and understanding of marketplace or delivery business models.
