We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to join our team in Warszawa, focusing on cloud-based system configuration and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Participation in project works related to the configuration and maintenance of systems based on K8s in cloud environments;
• Automation of deployment processes for cloud environments;
• Management of configuration for services operating in high availability mode, e.g., application clusters, database clusters, etc.;
• Configuration of monitoring and backups for environments using containerization;
• Hardening of servers, services, their optimization, and security.

Requirements

• Experience in the installation and configuration of Kubernetes clusters;
• Practical knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Understanding of cloud solutions (AWS/AZURE/GCP);
• Use of configuration management tools (Helm, Ansible, Terraform);
• Good knowledge of Linux system administration (mainly Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) and services running on them;
• Experience in the configuration and use of supporting services (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Loki, etc.);
• Basic knowledge of networking (routing, firewall, NAT);
• Knowledge of load balancing and HA solutions;
• Understanding of virtualization, with emphasis on VMware products;
• English language skills allowing for easy understanding of documentation and basic communication;
• Pressure of time is not frightening for you.

Nice to Have

• CKA/CKAD/CKS certification.

According to Art. 13 par. 1 and par. 2 of the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016, hereinafter "GDPR", we inform you that:

1. The personal data administrator is Oktawave S.A. with its registered office at ul. Poleczki 13, 02-822 Warszawa, hereinafter "Oktawave".
2. The administrator has appointed a data protection officer, who can be contacted at: [email protected] or by sending written correspondence to the postal address: ul. Puławska 464, 02-884 Warszawa.
3. Personal data will be processed for the purpose of a) conducting the recruitment process based on Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a and c GDPR; b) registration in the candidate database, based on Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR, i.e., consent to the processing of personal data c) possible establishment, investigation, or securing of claims based on Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR. In the case of data processing based on consent, it may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the data processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent.
4. Personal data may be disclosed to data recipients entitled under separate provisions, entities cooperating with Oktawave, entities processing data on Oktawave's behalf, and companies belonging to the Oktawave Capital Group or CP Capital Group.
5. Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the purpose a) i.e., conducting the recruitment process, b) when you have given consent to participate in future recruitments, in principle, for 2 years from the submission of the application or until the consent is withdrawn c) possible establishment, investigation, or securing of claims. After the purpose of processing is achieved, the data will be deleted.
6. The data subject has the right to: a) withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal; b) request access to personal data and the right to correct, delete, or restrict processing, as well as the right to data portability, i.e., the right to receive your personal data from us in a structured, commonly used electronic format suitable for machine reading, if such transmission is technically possible; c) object to their processing due to their special situation; d) lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe that the processing of their personal data infringes the provisions of the GDPR.
7. Providing personal data is necessary to conduct the recruitment process. The consequence of not providing personal data will be the inability to participate in the recruitment process.
8. The scope of processed personal data includes data contained in the CV.
9. Data will not be processed in an automated manner, including profiling, nor will they be subject to automated decision-making.
