IOS Developer / SDET

About the Position

We are seeking an iOS Developer / SDET to join our US-based consulting agency with a global presence, focusing on iOS automation and test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of a world-class iOS Engineering team with 40+ engineers
• Create and support existing test cases and frameworks written in native Swift using XCTest and XCUITests libraries
• File bugs into TestRail caught by automated tests
• Work with iOS Engineers to make necessary code changes for app testability
• Work on in-house tools for test parallelization, network mocking, and custom reporting
• Code review team PRs and help iOS developers maintain healthy CI
• Participate in all Scrum rituals – daily standups, sprint planning, and showcase meetings

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience building native iOS applications
• Experience building applications in Swift
• Knowledge of Swift concepts (structs, optionals, generics, etc.)
• A BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering is a huge plus
• Comfortable using XCode
• Ability to debug code
• Proficient in Swift
• Proficient with Git and GitHub
• Comfortable with Gitflow
• Familiar with architectures beyond MVC – i.e., MVVM / Clean code patterns
• Fundamental knowledge of xcodebuild command line utility is a big plus
• Previous experience with test frameworks such as XCTest is a big plus
