About the Position
We are seeking an iOS Developer / SDET to join our US-based consulting agency with a global presence, focusing on iOS automation and test frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Be a part of a world-class iOS Engineering team with 40+ engineers
- Create and support existing test cases and frameworks written in native Swift using XCTest and XCUITests libraries
- File bugs into TestRail caught by automated tests
- Work with iOS Engineers to make necessary code changes for app testability
- Work on in-house tools for test parallelization, network mocking, and custom reporting
- Code review team PRs and help iOS developers maintain healthy CI
- Participate in all Scrum rituals – daily standups, sprint planning, and showcase meetings
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience building native iOS applications
- Experience building applications in Swift
- Knowledge of Swift concepts (structs, optionals, generics, etc.)
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering is a huge plus
- Comfortable using XCode
- Ability to debug code
- Proficient in Swift
- Proficient with Git and GitHub
- Comfortable with Gitflow
- Familiar with architectures beyond MVC – i.e., MVVM / Clean code patterns
- Fundamental knowledge of xcodebuild command line utility is a big plus
- Previous experience with test frameworks such as XCTest is a big plus
