About the Position

IT Consultant (m/w/d) - M365

Proact Deutschland GmbH is seeking a dedicated IT Consultant specializing in Microsoft 365 to join our team. In this role, you will drive modern workplace transformations and ensure secure, scalable M365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Take responsibility for our clients' projects related to the Modern Workplace with Microsoft 365, from detailed planning to implementation.
• Analysis and Planning: Analyze existing environments and plan comprehensive transformations towards hybrid or cloud-based M365 architectures, including legacy and hybrid considerations.
• Implementation: Hands-on implementation of M365 solutions, applying your specialization in areas such as Identity, Collaboration (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint), Power Platform, AI & Copilot, or Endpoint Management.
• Consulting: Advise our business clients on Modern Workplace scenarios, adoption, governance, and best practices, and support the technical implementation.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure the creation of stable, secure, and future-proof M365 environments, considering security, compliance, and data protection requirements (e.g., Identity & Access, Conditional Access, Device and Information Protection).
• Documentation: Create technical concepts, architecture, operational, and project documentation in German and English for demanding client environments.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the development of our Microsoft and Modern Workplace portfolio, for example, through new services, standards, automations, or the use of AI.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: Completed vocational training or a degree with relevant professional experience in IT or Microsoft environments.
• Experience: Several years of experience in IT consulting or the implementation of M365 projects, with responsibility for clients or sub-projects.
• Technical Expertise: Broad technical understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and related infrastructure solutions, with in-depth expertise in at least one of the following areas: Identity, Collaboration, Power Platform, AI/Copilot, or Intune.
• Hybrid Scenarios: Knowledge of hybrid scenarios and related Microsoft technologies such as Entra ID (Azure AD), Security & Compliance, or automation, and the ability to integrate them meaningfully.
• Soft Skills: Solution-oriented thinking, structured work, and the ability to build trusting, long-term client relationships.
• Languages: Excellent German and English skills for national and international collaboration.
• Teamwork: Willingness to share knowledge within the team, with clients, and in the community, and a desire to continuously develop in the Microsoft 365 environment.
