Responsibilities

Why this position exists

The Mittelstand is modernizing its workplace – Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Teams, and increasingly Copilot. We are specifically expanding this business and are looking for you as the technical face for it: You plan and implement migrations, advise clients at eye level, and work in tandem with our Business Development Manager Microsoft, who drives sales, while you build the solutions.

Important: We fill this role according to the level. Whether you want to start with 1–2 years of M365 experience or have already been responsible for migration projects – tasks, goals, and salary will be adjusted to your level. What is non-negotiable: genuine enthusiasm for the Microsoft Cloud.

Your role – four focus areas

Implementing projects (approx. 50%): You plan and implement Microsoft 365 projects independently: Tenant setup, Exchange migrations (Hybrid and Online), Entra ID, Intune rollouts with Autopilot, Teams introductions.

Advising clients (approx. 25%): You conduct workshops, design solution blueprints, harden environments with security baselines (Conditional Access, Defender), and accompany clients on their journey to Copilot readiness.

Operations & Development (approx. 15%): You manage existing client environments at the 2nd and 3rd level and continuously develop them instead of just processing tickets.

Sharing knowledge (approx. 10%): You keep our team updated on Microsoft innovations and support pre-sales meetings as a technical sparring partner.

What we measure success together after 12 months

• You independently manage M365 migration projects from planning to handover
• You have conducted at least one Intune rollout
• A Copilot or Security project at the client has been technically supported by you
• A Microsoft certification has been passed (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, or SC-300)

The specific goals behind this will be agreed upon together – depending on your entry level.

Requirements

What you bring

• Practical experience in administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, or Intune) – 1–2 years is sufficient, more is welcome
• Basic understanding of the on-premises world (Active Directory, Exchange) to ensure successful migrations
• You explain technology understandably and truly listen to clients
• Independent, structured working style
• Fluent German, good English (manufacturer documentation), Class B driver's license

What we do NOT expect

• Detailed knowledge of each of the 20+ Microsoft 365 services
• Certificates as a ticket – you will earn them with us, at our expense
• Ten years of professional experience
