About the Position
IT Project Manager - Birmingham - cGBP50K
A well-established organization is looking to appoint an experienced IT Project Manager to support the delivery of major ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation programs, alongside a variety of business transformation projects across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing PMO where you'll work across IT, operations, supply chain, logistics, finance, HR, sales, and customer service, ensuring projects are delivered successfully from planning through to implementation. The role offers exposure to large-scale transformation programs and the opportunity to influence project delivery standards across the business.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of ERP, WMS, and wider business transformation projects
- Produce and maintain project documentation including project plans, business cases, status reports, and meeting minutes
- Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, risks, and issues, implementing corrective actions where required
- Coordinate project teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure successful delivery
- Support project governance, testing, training, and cut-over activities during implementation
- Track project resources, costs, and key performance indicators, providing regular reporting to stakeholders
- Manage project risks, issues, and change requests, escalating where appropriate
Requirements
- Strong project planning, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience producing project documentation including business cases, project plans, and reporting
- Confident managing multiple priorities across concurrent projects
- Experience using project management software and Microsoft Office 365
We Offer
- Competitive salary: £50,000 to £52,000 GBP
