About the Position
Currently for one of our clients, an international IT company which delivers its own solutions for various business sectors: space & defense, transportation, etc., we are looking for an:
IT System Maintenance Technician
Referral number: MJ/SMT/DE/197
Responsibilities
- Providing preventive and corrective maintenance of the ground segment elements – hardware and partly corrective software maintenance
- Logging maintenance interventions, raising and processing tickets
- Tracking tickets and their status, reporting of status internally and externally
- Reviewing new technical documentation and testing new system installations as well as rising anomalies
- Managing user accounts according to the Security policy, participating in meetings, and interacting with customers
Requirements
- Experience as a Service Desk/IT support specialist
- Technical higher education – IT or other engineering degree
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows environment
- Knowledge of at least one of the following technical areas: networking (routing, firewall, VLAN, VPN), Windows Server (AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, RDS, WSUS, Exchange), Backup, virtualization solution
- Fluent speaker of English (written and spoken)
