Java Back-end Developer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Java Back-end Developer for our client, an international software company that produces solutions for the banking sector. The position is based in Warszawa, mazowieckie.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing advanced and secure web solutions used with large volumes of financial data;
• Working in the SCRUM methodology with a strong emphasis on automated test coverage, code reviews, and continuous integration;
• Collaborating with experienced team members on the development of current and future versions of the product;
• Investigating the business needs of large-scale banking solutions in international banks;
• Working with product owners to deliver software according to end-user expectations;
• Collaborating with client teams on the integration and deployment of solutions in the production environment;
• Participating in the creation of solution prototypes and epics;
• Participating in training to achieve optimal performance and quality;
• Willingness to develop towards managerial roles;

Requirements

• Higher education in IT;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in programming in JAVA/JEE;
• Experience with frameworks and tools such as: Spring, Hibernate, Git, Bootstrap, Maven, jQuery, Oracle;
• Knowledge of JSF for making small changes in the front-end code is welcome;
• Ability to work in a Scrum team with continuous integration methods;
• Very good knowledge of Polish and English;
• Openness, attention to detail, and a team player attitude;
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, JSF, jQuery, Apache-CXS, Bootstrap, CSS is an advantage;
