Java Backend Developer - International Recruitment

WE ARE META is seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer for international recruitment. Join our team and leverage your expertise in Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement automated testing (unit, integration, and API testing).
• Design and operate microservices architectures.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform with a DevOps-oriented mindset.
• Work with Kafka and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Ensure software design principles such as Clean Code, SOLID, and maintainable architectures are followed.
• Gain experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in Java development, with strong expertise in Spring/Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and API testing).
• Strong understanding of software design principles (Clean Code, SOLID, maintainable architectures).
• Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, with a DevOps-oriented mindset.
• Experience with Kafka and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Solid experience designing and operating microservices architectures.
• Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English (minimum C1 level).
• Fluency in French is a great plus.
