About the Position
We are currently seeking a skilled Java Developer for a remote role with our client, an international software company that creates solutions for the publishing, legal, and healthcare industries. This role involves developing a Content Management System (CMS) and working within an Agile framework.
Responsibilities
- Development of a Content Management System (CMS) based on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices and adaptation of existing software
- Assessment of user needs and requirements, and their transformation into detailed specifications and software
- Design, development, and implementation of high-quality architecture with security principles in mind
- Analysis and improvement of system performance
- Incident resolution
- Planning and reporting progress in accordance with Agile methodologies
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Practical project experience with Java 8, Spring, Hibernate
- Experience working with REST web services
- Knowledge of testing tools (JUnit, EasyMock, SoapUI)
- Experience with the Atlassian Stack (BitBucket, Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo)
- Very good knowledge of English (minimum B2) – work in an international team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and Amazon ECS
- Knowledge of the SPARQL query language
