We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Java Developer to join us in Brussels and take part in large-scale, impactful digital projects for one of our premium clients. 🏆
Responsibilities
As a Freelance Java Developer, you will be integrated into a dynamic environment to design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise applications. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing high-quality software solutions using Java / Java EE technologies.
- Implementing and managing API and Web Services standards (OAuth2, OpenAPI, SOAP) and working within SOA / REST models.
- Translating business requirements into technical designs utilizing UML and BPMN.
- Collaborating within an Agile/Scrum methodology, while aligning with corporate governance frameworks (ITIL, PMBOK/PRINCE2).
- Contributing to architectural discussions and evolution using modern architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Archi, Sparx).
- Ensuring code quality, version control, and seamless integration using GIT and client frameworks (Axis 2, CXF,.Net compatibility).
Requirements
- Experience: You have at least 3 years (Medior) to 10+ years (Senior) of proven experience in backend Java development.
- Core Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Java/Java EE, REST/SOA architectures, API security (OAuth2), and SOAP/OpenAPI standards.
- Methodologies: Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of ITIL, Prince2, or TOGAF is a major asset.
- Tools: Proficiency with GIT, UML/BPMN modeling tools (Sparx, Archi), and integration frameworks (Axis 2, CXF).
- Soft Skills: Autonomous, proactive, team-oriented, and solution-driven.
