Java Developer

About the Position

Do you want to start a career in Java and work on real projects used by thousands of people around the world? Join us!

What can you expect?

• You will be involved in developing and improving our applications for retail chains around the world, such as Lidl, Adidas, Aldi, and many others.
• You will become part of the Czech development team, but you will also work directly with customers and other important members of the project from our company (consultants, testers).
• You will use Java, design and implement new software solutions and microservices, integrate various web services, and of course-test, debug, and write documentation (you really can't do without it).
• Since our customers are foreign, you will be communicating in English.
• Before we let you join an ongoing project, you will undergo training to prepare you for working on a real project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve applications for global retail chains
• Collaborate with the Czech development team and other company members
• Design and implement new software solutions and microservices
• Integrate various web services
• Test, debug, and write documentation

Requirements

• Studying at a technical university (ideally with a focus on software development)
• At least a school-level knowledge of Java
• Ability to work independently and take on responsibility
• Experience with Maven, Spring, SVN, JUnit, Webservices, Swing, and Hibernate is a plus
