About the Position
Do you want to start a career in Java and work on real projects used by thousands of people around the world? Join us!
You will be involved in developing and improving our applications for retail chains around the world, such as Lidl, Adidas, Aldi, and many others. You will become part of the Czech development team, but you will also work directly with customers and other important members of the project from our company (consultants, testers). You will use Java, design and implement new software solutions and microservices, integrate various web services, and of course-test, debug, and write documentation (you really can't do without it). Since our customers are foreign, you will be communicating in English. Before we let you join an ongoing project, you will undergo training to prepare you for working on a real project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve applications for global retail chains
- Collaborate with the Czech development team and other project members
- Use Java to design, implement, and integrate software solutions and microservices
- Test, debug, and write documentation
- Communicate in English with customers and team members
Requirements
- Studying at a technical university (ideally with a focus on software development)
- At least a school-level knowledge of Java
- Ability to work independently and take on responsibility
- Commitment to at least 48 hours a month (flexible during exam periods)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Maven, Spring, SVN, JUnit, Webservices, Swing, and Hibernate
