Java Developer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Java Developer for our client, a software company providing products and services to various companies in selected industries and the public sector. The role is based in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Creation and implementation of software in Java 8/9
• Development of new application functionalities
• Maintenance of necessary technical documentation
• Work based on Scrum methodology

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of project experience using Java
• Experience with the Liferay platform
• Practical knowledge of frameworks: Spring, Hibernate
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL query language
• Familiarity with application build automation tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle)
• Skills in using code repositories (e.g., SVN or GIT)
• Experience in testing own code and writing unit tests (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Mockito)
• Ability to use integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
