Java Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Java Developer for our client, an international software company creating solutions for the financial sector. The position is based in Warszawa, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing advanced and secure web solutions using large amounts of financial data;
• Working on software development projects conducted in Scrum with a strong emphasis on test coverage, code analysis, and continuous integration processes;
• Collaborating with a team of experienced developers, providing opportunities to improve your development skills and exchange experiences;
• Working with large-scale electronic banking solutions used in international banks;
• Implementing code in JAVA using, among others, Spring, Hibernate;
• Collaborating with bank development teams on solution integration and deployment in production environments;
• Working depending on your experience with web services, APIs, front-end, back-end, or other banking tasks;
• Participating in the improvement of tools and processes within the company;
• Participating in training sessions;

Requirements

• Higher technical education;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java programming and knowledge of JEE (experience as a Full Stack Developer is welcome);
• Very good knowledge of frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, JavaScript, HTML, XML;
• Willingness to work in teams implementing projects in agile methodologies using continuous integration methods;
• Very good knowledge of English due to work in an English-speaking environment;
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Sonar is a plus;
• Knowledge of AngularJS, React, JavaScript, CSS, SASS, jQuery, Gulp, npm, yarn, Webpack, GIT, Jasmine, Karma, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Kendo UI is a plus;
