About the Position
We are seeking a Java Engineer with 3+ years of commercial experience to join our team in Lviv, Ukraine. You will work on advanced solutions for sharing medical information within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders of the project
- Write robust manageable code
- Work in an Agile team, participating in sprint plannings, daily meetings, retrospectives, code reviews
- Use JIRA bug-tracking system
- Be a self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented team player
- Be ready for business trips 25-50% of your time.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience with Java-based solutions
- Strong knowledge of Core Java Platform
- Experience with JPA / Hibernate / JDBC / Spring frameworks
- Experience with Maven/Gradle
- Understanding REST/HTTP
- Work experience with Git
- Formal degree in software engineering, information technology, or equivalent
- Upper-intermediate English level
Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare sector
- Experience with Apache NiFi, Apache Solr
- Experience with Docker
- Working in an Agile, iterative development environment
