Java Fullstack developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Java Fullstack Developer with at least 3 years of experience for a challenging project developing an online backup app in a distributed storage system.

Project Description

Our project is developing Online Backup Apps in a distributed (P2P) storage system – “The Airbnb of Storage”. We are developing it for a large US storage company, we are their software development arm. We build kind of Airbnb for file storage in a very low cost. It should replace heavy users of Google Drive/Photos, Dropbox, and similar services. Mobile application would enable to login/register/create backups in their decentralized cloud, etc…

The project is developed from scratch and contains a lot of development, client side and server side. The development is very challenging and contains a lot of “smart code” and multiple development challenges and latest software architecture best practices and implementations of many innovative solutions. There is also a significant part regarding secure coding and development according to OWASP best practices and latest international laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with frontend team
• Implement secure coding practices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software development experience with Java (Preferred Spring)
• Experience with open API (Swagger)
• Experience with working with Cassandra
• Experience with stateless architecture (Redis based)
• Secure code development – Advantage
• OWASP checklist – Advantage
• React.js (redux, routers, API calls with ajax/axios, bootstrap) – Advantage
