Java Fullstack Developer (German speaker)

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Java Fullstack Developer fluent in German to join a dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Java and modern web technologies, thrives in agile environments, and is passionate about building robust, scalable enterprise applications. All project communication and documentation are conducted in German - fluency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with frontend team
• Conduct requirements analysis and application system specification
• Engage in application design and software architecture
• Handle database design and data modeling
• Implement agile software development methodologies
• Manage source code with versioning systems (e.g., Git)
• Perform testing disciplines: unit, integration, and acceptance testing
• Support application deployment, commissioning, and operations
• Assist in legacy system migration and modernization
• Integrate applications into existing infrastructure
• Train end-users and operations personnel
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to client staff and technical documentation
• Design and implement IT security concepts within application systems

Requirements

• University or higher education degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences)
• Recognized vocational qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Equivalent expertise demonstrated through substantial hands-on professional experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a software developer on commercial software development projects
• Proven track record in Java application development, including Java web development
• Experience in.NET environments is also considered

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in documenting system specifications, architectural decisions, and design rationale
