About the Position
Moorgate, a recruitment firm specializing in IT specialist and senior-level positions, is currently seeking a Java Game Server Developer for our client in the gaming industry based in Kraków, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Development of the server part of games with a focus on the appropriate level of code quality based on pure Java
- Work requiring the creation of algorithms and analysis of dependencies related to probability calculation
- Development of the backend part of games based on an innovative, internal platform allowing the provision of products to clients
- Attention to quality and consistency of the solution
- Collaboration with Development teams and the Game Producer within the Agile methodology
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Java programming using OOP principles, Design Patterns, and Clean Code
- Very good mathematical skills – algorithmics, statistics, probability calculus
- Knowledge of MySQL, JPA, EJB, Rest API
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
