Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications while adhering to engineering best practices
• Analyze project requirements, estimate tasks, and support technical design decisions
• Collaborate with global teams on technical solutions, code reviews, and Confluence documentation
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Drive system improvements, code quality, and overall performance optimization

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development with a strong foundation in computer science
• Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Git, and Maven
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures
• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and core CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, Jira)
• Clear communication in English (B2 level or higher)
• Practical expertise with AI coding assistants and SDLC tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codeium, or Amazon Q Developer within real engineering workflows
