About the Position
We are currently seeking a Team Leader for Software Development for our client, a software company producing solutions for the banking sector. The position is based in Warszawa, Poland.

Responsibilities
- Managing a local software development team (approximately 7 developers and testers);
- Applying agile methods to achieve the best team performance;
- Managing and optimizing the backlog for their team;
- Overseeing the workflow in Jira for estimating, developing, and delivering software produced by the managed team;
- Identifying and mitigating team-level risks;
- Supervising the quality of stories developed by the team;
- Participating in teleconferences with internal and external stakeholders;
- Contributing to process improvements and implementing these enhancements;
Requirements
- Higher technical education;
- Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in the IT sector (coding experience is a plus);
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a developer;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing teams in software development projects;
- Knowledge of technologies (practical experience not necessary): Java, JavaScript, web applications, IT security, databases, Git, CI/CD, testing;
- Ability to integrate the team and maintain a friendly work atmosphere to achieve team goals;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey concise information to management;
- Interest in the IT sector and SDLC;
- Interest in how delivered solutions work from both a technical and functional perspective;
- Proactiveness and continuous pursuit of improvements;
- Very good knowledge of English and Polish;
