About the Position

At the moment, for our client, an international software company that creates solutions for clients from various sectors (including aeronautics, security, telecommunication), we are looking for a candidate for the position of:

Java Tech Lead/Java Architect

Responsibilities

• Technical leading and management of the team;
• Defining tasks, scheduling (Redmine), assigning and following them, giving advice about implementation;
• Sharing a positive technical culture and applying agile methods to development including TDD and CI;
• Gathering business requirements, producing highly accurate specifications, providing estimations, introducing new technologies etc.;
• Providing guidance and consultancy to PMs and Stakeholders;
• Working with e.g. Java EE 1.8, EJB 3.1, Ext-GWT, Angular2, Java Content Repository, Webservices, REST, Hibernate, JPA, Apache Maven, Apache2, Jboss 5.1 GA and Jboss 6.4 EAP, PostgreSQL, Ubuntu Linux;

Requirements

• Circa 10 years of experience in software development in JEE technologies;
• Master degree in Computer Science or related topics;
• Designing and delivering complex enterprise-scale Java/JEE solutions;
• Experience in JBoss 6 EAP/Wildfly 9 AS and above or in any other JEE 6/7 compliant application server;
• Knowledge of Linux, Maven, SVN, Jasper Reports, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Junit, Arquillian, Jenkins;
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum Methodology;
• Very good knowledge of English;
• Additional information: The candidate will go through the process of obtaining Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect Certification;
