Jr Test Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Jr Test Engineer to join our dynamic team at T-Systems India. In this role, you will be responsible for writing test cases, executing tests, and reporting bugs to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Test Case Writing and Review: Develop and review test cases based on requirements.
• Test Execution: Perform manual test execution.
• Manual Test Reporting: Create detailed reports on test execution and findings.
• Bug Reporting: Identify and report bugs to the development team.
• Analysis of Stories and Bugs: Analyze user stories and bugs to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in manual testing.
• Skills:
  • Strong manual testing skills.
  • Ability to prepare test designs and write test cases from requirements.
  • Knowledge of the software testing life cycle and application life cycle.
• Competence:
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to drive discussions with stakeholders across geographical teams.
  • Ability to make quality-based technical decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated individual.
  • Open-minded and willing to learn from peers and help them grow.

Nice to Have

• ISTQB CSTE certification.
