About the Position
We are looking for a Junior Business Development Manager who will assist in further developing Icecat’s footprint in the United Kingdom. Your responsibility will be to manage our existing clients and expand our business in the US and Canada. The emphasis will be on new business and expanding our ecosystem of brand manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
Responsibilities
- Create an Icecat ecosystem in the UK by connecting brand manufacturers, distributors, and retailers via Icecat`s freemium and premium solutions
- Identify and approach decision-makers within the target client organization and generate recurring revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and continuously explore expansion opportunities
- Prepare and execute contract negotiations
- Develop and implement sales-driven marketing / promotional activities
- Participate in trade fair shows / Set up of customer events
- Reports to the Director UK
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in International Business, Economics, BA, or similar studies
- Structured way of working, basing decisions on solid analysis
- Negotiation and organizational skills
- Self-confidence, friendly and customer-driven
- Strong communication skills and dynamic personality
- Experience in account management and sales
- Work experience in the SaaS business is a plus
- Native English; other languages are a plus
- Hands-on and target-oriented
