About the Position
Junior Insight Analyst
The Tech & Durables Customer Success team at NIQ acts as a strategic partner to our clients, helping them respond faster to changing market dynamics. We specialize in industries such as Consumer Electronics, Domestic Appliances, IT, Telecom, and others, delivering insights and recommendations that are critical to our clients' success.
We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Insight Analyst to join our Western Europe Insights COE team, which supports some of the biggest global T&D clients. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across one or more T&D categories on the WE market, helping them make better decisions based on research and sales data.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and interpretation of sales and consumer data to uncover actionable insights across categories and business issues.
- Summarizing findings in tables, charts, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity, with full or partial ownership of insight delivery.
- Building a strong partnership with your stakeholders and seeking to make an impact by supporting them in delivering meaningful solutions for WE-based clients.
- Supporting other team members during client meetings and presentations.
- Fostering a strong understanding of your clients’ business priorities.
- Ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through clear expectations and analytical pipeline coordination, with support from your manager, while nurturing long-term relationships through consistent delivery.
- Contributing to the team and NIQ goals by participation in strategic internal projects.
Requirements
- University degree or finalizing education in Business/Marketing/Economics/Statistics or related field.
- An aptitude and aspirations to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders, and to develop presentation and storytelling skills.
- Any previous working experience with Tech & Durable, Retail, or market research industry, as well as knowledge of Nielsen IQ/GfK data and systems would be considered a big advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent communication in English - verbal and written (at least C1 level).
- Strong time- and workload management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ease of working in a multicultural setting and a virtual environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Interest in the Tech & Durable and/or Retail industry.
