About the Position

Join Bluefield Technologies as a Junior Java Software Engineer to contribute to an innovative SDN prototype for enterprise network management.

Work Location: Poland (Krakow). Hybrid: 2+ days per week in the office, the rest remote.

Requirements

Education

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor’s degree)
University education (Master’s degree)

Skills & Technologies

Development experience in Java 11+
Maven/Gradle for build automation
Strong understanding of OOP, coding best practices, and unit testing
Experience working with code repositories (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and Bash scripting
English: Upper intermediate (B2)

Work Approach

We primarily use Spring Boot, OSGi, and ServiceMix.
We follow SCRUM methodologies for development.
Daily communication with global customers, so English proficiency is essential.
