About the Position

CHECK24 is one of the leading online companies and Germany's largest comparison portal – both a market leader and a dynamic startup.

In the Individual Travel sector, we are developing a new, customer-centric AI product. Our Data & Intelligence team is creating the data foundation for this: we integrate, structure, and evaluate travel information and make it usable for the chat. This way, our customers receive current, relevant, and personalized recommendations.

You will translate customer needs into clear data requirements and, together with IT, reliably bring data-based features into live operation. You will keep an eye on data quality, timeliness, and product impact.

We look forward to your application as a (Junior) Product Manager (m/w/d) AI Travel Planner at CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Individualreisen GmbH.

Responsibilities

• You design data-based features end-to-end: You shape the use of travel data in the chat, define clear requirements and acceptance criteria, and develop user flows and mockups (e.g., in Figma)
• You develop our travel database further: You design data pipelines and scores, connect internal and external data sources, and translate complex information into clear, usable product logic
• You ensure the quality of our data and features: You define rules for special cases as well as missing or contradictory data, set KPIs for data coverage, data freshness, and personalization, and ensure through monitoring and regular quality checks that the results in live operation are reliable, traceable, and continuously improved
• You work closely with IT and other stakeholders: You will quickly take ownership of a focus area after your onboarding

Requirements

• Educational Background: Completed studies, e.g., in (Economic) Computer Science, Data Science, (Economic) Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering, or similar
• Interest in Conceptual Product Work: Enjoy translating complex data requirements into clear processes, user flows, wireframes, and mockups. Experience with user flows, wireframes, or mockups (e.g., in Figma) is a plus
• Interest in Data Models, Technical Processes, and Tools: (e.g., APIs, JSON, SQL, Postman, Git, Jira) as well as in AI and LLMs and the desire to delve deeper
• Structured, Analytical, and Meticulous Work Approach: With high attention to detail and good stakeholder management
• Fluent German and Good English Skills
