Junior QA engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join our agile team in Barcelona, focusing on manual and automated testing. Convidad is a small software company based in the center of Barcelona with principal clients in The Netherlands. We work in a relaxed and multicultural environment, speaking a mixture of Spanish, Catalan, and English. Our client entrusts us with choosing both our approach to new challenges and the technologies that best suit our needs. This allows our team to work on the forefront of modern software development, increasing our knowledge in crucial areas.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to develop our automation framework for regression testing
• Suggest new ideas on how to improve it
• Perform manual testing on our products

Requirements

• Object Oriented Programming
• Skilled as a computer user (from UI perspective)
• Good eye for detail (for bug finding, prevention, and reporting)
• Intermediate English level
• Good communicator (writing and speaking)
• Enjoys both teamwork and working solo
• Some experience with source control (preferably git)
