Job Description

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Exploratory Testing: You will test our software on web, iOS, and Android platforms, ensuring high product quality through structured and exploratory tests.
• Analysis & Product Improvement: You will delve deeply into our tax, product, and decision logic, analyze technical requirements and bugs in detail, and derive precise test cases, test scenarios, and improvements for the product, processes, and test coverage.
• Test Design: You will create, maintain, and expand test cases and test scenarios in close collaboration with product management and software development, specifically considering special cases, edge cases, and possible error scenarios.
• Test Automation & Tooling: You will further develop automated test procedures, use suitable tools and technologies, and help ensure that recurring tests are stable, reproducible, and scalable.
• AI Validation: You will check the quality of our AI-supported functions, evaluate result quality, identify systematic error patterns, and support the establishment of suitable validation approaches.
• Release & Process Quality: You will accompany releases, check new features before going live, and contribute your own ideas to continuously develop our testing, release, and quality processes.

Requirements

• Completed studies in a technical, scientific, mathematical, economic or similarly analytical field with excellent grades – alternatively a comparable qualification
• Strong analytical thinking and enjoyment of structuredly understanding complex rule sets, system relationships, and decision logic
• High quality awareness, accuracy, and a good sense for details, special cases, edge cases, and risks
• Initial knowledge in scripting or programming and motivation to further develop yourself in test automation, quality assurance, and modern testing approaches
• Interest in systematically checking and improving AI-supported functions, LLM results, and automated decision processes
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working style with the aim of not only finding errors but also understanding their causes sustainably
• Fluent German skills (at least C1) are required
