About the Position

Junior Quality Tester - Coimbra

Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

Responsibilities

Creating test cases based on requirements and design documents;
Performing manual testing of software applications;
Identifying bugs/defects and reporting them on an appropriate tool;
Creating detailed bug reports with screenshots, step-by-step explanations, to reproduce the problem;
Use of test and defect management tools;
Participating in meetings when necessary;
Complying with the project standards on testing policies, criteria, strategy, and procedure;
Communicating effectively with the project stakeholders;
Escalating work issues to the appropriate levels.

Requirements

Degree in computer science or similar;
At least 6 months of professional experience in similar functions;
Experience and autonomy in design, planning, and execution of functional testing;
Experience in test management tools and defect management tools and reporting;
Good communication, planning, and organization skills;
Good English communication skills, both written and spoken;

Nice to Have

ISTQB Foundation Certification;
Experience with Regression and Integration Testing;
SQL Knowledge;
Familiarity with Agile methodologies;
Capacity for initiative, dynamism, and proactivity.
