About the Position

NIQ works with clients to provide insights and thought leadership to drive their business and grow their portfolios. Our work helps clients understand consumers and shoppers via market research.

We are looking for a Junior Research Executive who is passionate about market research and is driven by curiosity. In this role, you will support our senior researchers in designing, conducting, and analyzing research projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of research methodologies.
  • Support senior researchers in tasks such as:
    • Contributing to questionnaire preparation (editing, translation, etc.)
    • Testing scripts
    • Monitoring fieldwork execution
    • Preparing report templates
    • Charting
    • Writing slide summaries and headlines
    • Running small projects independently (with team support).
  • Support the team in client communications and project management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Learn new methodologies (from NIQ learning resources), keeping up to date with the newest solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in quantitative research projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Marketing, or Business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (SPSS is a plus).
  • Knowledge of quantitative research methodologies (qualitative is a plus).
  • Strong sense of curiosity in human behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in working with FMCG and retail clients will be a plus.
  • Fluent in Czech and English (Slovakian will be a plus).
