We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our consulting team in The Hague, Netherlands. You will work on innovative projects with a focus on digital transformation in the public and private sectors across Europe.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work closely with Consultants and Senior Consultants on client projects. You will learn how to translate client needs into technical solutions and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow in the role.

You don't need to know everything yet - curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to learn are more important to us than a perfect technical match.

Your tasks will vary by project and will evolve over time. Generally, you will be involved in:

• Collaborating with consultants and senior consultants on client projects
• Assisting with analyses, requirements, and designing solutions
• Contributing to the development, documentation, and testing of software
• Participating in project meetings, workshops, and training
• Learning and applying Netcompany methodologies, frameworks, and tools
• Helping to automate and improve business processes
• Actively seeking feedback and contributing to a positive team culture

Technologies You May Work With

Many of our projects are web-based. Depending on the project, you will work with:

• .NET, C#, and Java
• Angular and React
• Azure Cloud
• Standard platforms such as Microsoft, Salesforce, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, Snowflake, and Guidewire

You are not expected to have experience with all these technologies - we will help you learn them in practice.

Requirements

What You Bring

We are looking for motivated colleagues who want to develop. You are a good fit for this role if you have:

• A HBO or WO bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience
• Little to no work experience; experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Interest in solving complex problems
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Some experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., .NET or Java) is a plus
• Good command of the Dutch language (for client communication) and English, both spoken and written

• A starting salary of €3,300 gross per month based on a full-time employment contract.
